Who is the Potato Onion Guy? 

I'm Mitch, an organic, seed-saving backyard gardener on a ½ acre plot in zone 5B, Wisconsin USA. What I eat, I grow. Therefore, currently, I do not sell my produce, including potato onions. 

Ideally, at some point in the future - maybe 2026 or 2027 - my intention is to sell potato onion bulbs. To do that, I will need a lot more space than I currently have in my backyard gardens. I have found some farmland outside a neighboring city where I intend to plant the green mountain potato onion seedlings during the 2025 growing season. If that works and I'm pleased with the results, I will expand in that field during the 2026 season.
